Ancient Oaks

I had a serious bug problem while living here - there were roaches and ants constantly in the kitchen area, especially in the warm months. The office will send someone over to spray the place once a week, but it didn't seem to help much. The whole apartment looked kind of slapped together - half the outlets didn't work, and there was a rectangular hole cut out of the wall that they tried to fix with masking tape. After a heavy rain, the bathroom ceiling collapsed, and they took three trips to fix it. The sink overflowed several times. The apartment didn't come with curtains or blinds so I had to buy my own. There are only two washers and two dryers for 18 apartments, and they weren't cheap to use, and often didn't work either. Out my back window I had a nice view of a ton of weeds and someone's old couch. On the plus side: the place is spacious with nice hardwood floors, the parking is decent, the area is very safe, and the rent is fair. Ultimately, I can't recommend Ancient Oaks.
