We have been living here for just under a year without any real conmplaints.
Yes, the apartment was not ready when we moved in (they had plenty of notice!), but after harrassing leasing and maintence staff, they finally got it all in order - lucky the movers were also late, so it matched.
In the end, the maintenance guys are super nice and do a pretty decent job. Nothing special, but things do get done.
The pool gets 'cleaned' in the sense that debris is removed, but the water does not get changed and by the end of the summer, the urine content was over 3%.
We have a couple of months on our lease, and the way things have been going, we would not be surprised if the rent jumps up by $200.

Also, there is a construction site right opposite our balcony and sometimes they start before 6am or work until past 10 pm or 11pm. Management's response is that they try to talk to them, but ultemately cannot change anything. Also, "since they will be finished soon" (what, in a year') they won't consider being more lenient with the price hike....

Noise wise, our floor is so quiet that I wonder if we are the only ones here. But a friend in a different part of the building can hear every word... or rather other activities very clearly through the wall.

Smell wise it can be bad when you walk past the trash chute, but otherwise I am not bothered by it.

Also, the building calls itself 'pet friendly'. Only that they prohibit anything other than cats and charge you an arm and a leg for it, too.
