I would recommend Lincoln Towers. It's quiet. The location is good. The apartments are well designed.

On the other hand, the front desk staff can be difficult to deal with and the price is bordering on extortionate.

Be sure of your reasons for renting at Lincoln Towers. Then you'll probably enjoy it. Otherwise, you may become as frustrated as some of the other reviewers on here.

Well - for most of us the prices are the killer. but then add to that the following and it really is a deal breaker: Pool - last year it spent more time being green or yellow but seldom blue. Courtyard chairs - several of them were broken and were not replaced until well after the summer had ended. BBQs - were not cleaned and only had one knob left with which to operate. This meant that for most of the summer they were impossible to use. computer rooms - In serious need of upgrades. Often the computers don't work, the screens blank out when you tilt the monitor, mice are missing, and several chairs need replacement. The front desk staff can be difficult, but for the most part, they do try hard to be friendly - some are just better at it than others. What also gets me is that when I made a list of problems and submitted to Daniel Kute, the property manager, as part of our rent hike increase (10.8% - $155), she said that Archstone/Charles E Smith set the rates for each property and the market will bear the cost, so there was nothing she could do. She didn't comment on any of the other issues either. So yes, you could move in here - but you might be better off moving to Randolph Towers across the road instead - bigger apartments and in better condition.
