Avalon is way overpriced, and goes up every yr. I moved in in 2005 and got the Chesapeake with Loft for 1560/month. The new lease offer was 1712... what have they done to improve the complex' nothing! This does not include the "amenity fee" for using the clubhouse.
Dont get me wrong. its a nice complex, but it is just not worth what it costs... and if you want to stay for a while be ready to pay 10-20% increases with no benefits per yr.
Ill not touch on the other issues.. and my unit had no elevator at all btw.. or the stomping sound when people use the stairs.. (If I order pizza... I can hear the delivery guy from the second floor.. or the way the off-street parking is all used up by people with second and third cars who wont pay avalon a coupla hundred more for extra parking spaces
