Thankfully our lease is up in a few weeks and my roommates and I will be rid of this place forever. We are in a first floor apartment and whatever mulch they used in the courtyard area has left our apartment infested with bugs. It has been a problem for the entire length of our lease. We keep complaining and the maintenance staff is completely useless. This place is extremely overpriced for the area and the service they provide. I cannot stress enough that you should not rent here- in addition to the bug problem- the garage doors are constantly broken and left open (subsequently there have been several car thefts/break-ins), the parking policy is not at all enforced so people not paying for spaces are parking in the garage, the apartments are poorly constructed, the grills are disgusting and never have gas, and generally, the staff is incompetent and unable to resolve issues.

This is why we moved and will never go back. Filty conditions,bad neighborhood with gettho residence. Run for your life. Busstop robberies.

I agree the place is overpriced and management is iffy. But I've never had a problem in the 4 years I've lived here with the neighborhood--it does span the socio-economic spectrum from low income people in the subsidized apartments to 4-star generals and senators in the nearby owned townhouses. And I rode the bus for 3 of my 4 years and never heard of anyone being robbed at the bus stop.
