Looks great on the outside, but your nightmare begins when you sign a lease. My apartment had cockroaches when I arrived and there wasn't a week that passed during my 2 years there that I didn't see them crawling up the walls.

Garages aren't secure, even though they charge $90 a month for parking. My vehicle was vandalized and GPS stolen in a crime spree. The police told me I was the 5th victim they had located one Sunday morning. Management did nothing to improve security, but sent around a memo reminding tenants that they are not responsible. Thanks!

Units have no sound insulation between floors. I don't think my upstairs neighbor took one step I didn't hear clearly.

Management is incompetent and does not honor the terms of written renewal offers. Rent at this property at your own risk!

We are actually getting ready to move in...a little worried now. What floor/building were you located in?? We were told that parking it $50 extra a month/per parking space.

Yeah, it is $50. I just moved out of Avalon and had a great experience, living on the 4th floor and building 2720 Veitch.

To Anonymous -- Good luck to you. I hope your experience was better than mine. They will raise you parking fee if you renew.
