Don't be fooled by the fake positive reviews that must have been submitted by Avalon staff (isn't that against this website's policy'). I had cockroach problems since I moved into the unit. It was difficult to get staff to resolve the issue despite submitting several complaints over the past two years. A few times we had terminators come into the unit but all they did was leave residue all over the unit and the cockroaches would reappear anyway. I am sure my life is shorter because of all the chemicals I enhaled during my lease.
My unit flooded and maintenance brought in blowers to dry the carpet but they refused to remove it. Therefore, our carpet was warped where it got wet and there was water marks and mildew on the wall. Staff refused to replace the carpet or paint over the water stains.
The security doors to the apartment buildings are often broken so neighborhood teens always walk through the building. It is no wonder that residents receive flyers frequently about vandalism and theft to the units/cars.
Sales staff highlight the basketball court to lure in new renters. There are teenagers that aren't residents that slip into the building. They are the ones that often play in the gym.
The only time staff were friendly to us was when we were prospective renters and when our lease was up for renewal. I would not recommend this place to others.

Sounds like you don't know much about cockroaches. They like places that are dirty. Is that Avalons fault too or should they come clean up your messy cockroach apartment? I see you lived there for two years. If it was that horrible, why didn't you move? This website frustrates me because of people like you. 2nd Avalon I have lived at, never had any problems.

I agree, I've lived here for 2 years and have also never seen a roach or any other sort of undesirable vermon. And it really makes me livid to think that some dirty foul people have roaches that could potentially get into my lovely apartment. No, I am NOT a manager or staff of Avalon.
