I agree with what's already been said about the facade of this establishment. Additionally, they suck with your money. They claim to cash a check within 24 hours of receiving it and they waited 3 weeks before cashing my rent. They claim to have an excellent accounting system which is a MASSIVE LIE. I had to track down my check only to find out they credited MY money to ANOTHER apartment!!! They threatened me with their "5 day or quit" policy and wanted to charge me for THEIR MISTAKE! I made a huge mistake in renewing my lease thinking I didn't want to spend time finding another place. WISH I DID, the "secured" garage they have has been broken for the past 6 months. The ceiling pannels fell down from the 4th floor onto the ground floor and could have decapitated anyone in the area. The establishment left the panels for residents to climb over them for almost a WEEK until I called and complained about it. This is a law suit waiting to happen so if you wanna make some quick money, come here and surely some faulty part of the building will fall on you. Oh, and the pool they brag about is pretty much never open during the summer. They don't want to spend the money to pay a lifeguard so its only open sometimes.....AND it's a wading pool.....4ft. PATHETIC!!! Avalon definitely has a great appearance but that's about it. IF you do want to live in this area for some reason try the Park or the Grove which are both located right next to this hell hole although they must be better than this pathetic business.
