I moved to the Avalon at Arlington Square in June of 2007 and in a week of living there my expensive bike was stolen in the garage, in the cage (which was locked). What the Apartment does not tell you is that, the key to the Cage, that they give you, is a universal key in the whole complex.
Plus, the year before a person who lived in the complex went around to all of the cages and stole bikes.
when I finally fought my way to the Regional Office, they instructed the Arlington Square Manager to give me a $100 gift certificate for a much more expensive bike. A little insulting.

This was the beginning of my problems at The Avalon.

Next I started to notice that the windows on my 1st Floor Apartment in the late Fall were leaking all around the frame. I reported the issue to the Office and their response was that they will take care of it and put us on the list. what was not told to us is that when the Apartment complex was built about 6 years or so back the contractor for the windows installed almost oall of the windows incorrectly, resulting in the issues that we were having.

Almost a year later, and many bug problems that I cannot count, our windows are still leaking, more like flowing when it rains, and my roomate and I are still on the list. I have recently brought the issue up again to the Mangement at our Clubhouse who has told us we are on the list for the new contract that was just signed and the windows will hopefully be replaced before Winter. By that time I may have a major mold issue in myapartment and have a lawsuit going.
Can someone tell me the truth and atleast not up our rent $300'

This place is not worth the drama, time and energy to deal with!!!!
