I moved in in June and have had just a mediocre experience. The staff overall are lazy, rude, incompetent and advesarial. Once the lease is signed they seem to go out of their way to show residents that they resent your presence. I've seen more than one arguement between residents and staff. When we were signing our lease the agent we met with didn't want to answer any of my questions or give me time to read the terms before signing. When I asked to read it, he sighed and crossed his arms and said "go ahead." That was a sign of things to come but they already had $2000 of our money. Most of the staff in the leasing office are one job application away from working at Starbucks and the head manager, ---- couldn't be ruder if he tried, which explains why the rest of the staff behave the way they do.
They do a terrible job of upkeep. Most days the trash receptacles are overflowing with bags of dog ---- so people end up leaving them all over the sidewalk. We once had a bbq and when we tried to move one of the garbage cans, hundreds of maggots fell out the bottom of it. Most of the televisions in the gym aren't properly connected to the machines. Consider that residents pay $400/year for amenities. Essentially, you are paying for services you aren't recieving. Our hot water heater breaks down every two months or so and each time we call they tell us there's nothing wrong with it. We respond by arguing with them that last time they came in fixed it, the hot water miraculously turned back on and then they send maintenance to fix it. We call. They refuse. We argue. They come and fix. And repeat. The day we moved in we opened a window blind which fell off its hinge and when maintenance came they implied that we were too rough with the window blind. Our ceiling fan, despite two maintenance calls is unusuable. When it's on it rotates it looks like it about to fall of the ceiling. The garage doors don't have a sensor on them so if it's open and you drive up to it, cross your fingers that it doesn't close on the hood of your car which almost happen to me once. There has been on-going vandalism with vehicles and other property which the company fielded numerous phone calls about and didn't lift a finger until the vandals filled a whole buildings' worth of door locks with super glue. You couldn't write karma that good!
There's other things they are good about. Once my garbage desposal was clogged and they fixed it right away. They always seem to have problems with building access keys. But they called me to fix mine without me having to call them. That was nice. There's plenty of parking.
Bottom line, the service sucks and if you call them you are in for an rude or even combative conversation with the staff.
