I've had some fairly significant problems in this building, both with management and with the quality of the apartment.

As for the apartment itself, I've had several maintenance issues, including three significant plumbing leaks, and a broken heating/air conditioning unit that remained out of service for a significant period of time. I've talked with other folks in the building who have also had leak problems. I get the sense that they didn't use very high quality materials when they constructed the building.

As for management, my experience has generally been in accord with the other comments below -- the community manager can be difficult to deal with, or just plain rude/nasty, if you have an issue you need to raise with her.

And finally, I have to agree that the rent increases are pretty excessive. They told me that they were raising my rent by several hundred dollars. But I went online and found my exact apartment model in my building on a higher floor (and so presumably more desirable) being offered for several hundred dollars LESS than what my new rent was going to be. Frankly, it was insulting, and I felt I had to move out just on principle. I just recently left.

All in all, I'm afraid I can't recommend this building.
