I have enjoyed living at Barcroft Apartments. Your living expeirence here depends on what part of the grounds you live on. I'm a recent college grad/prof and with the expansive rooms and cheap rent I can't complain. You get what you pay for so things such as the office being open from 9am to 5pm (the hours everyone is at work themselves) and open only part of the day Sat. doesn't surprise me. (staff also speaks spanish and caters to the hispanic community) The good part is the staff doesn't really pay attention to what you do with the apartment such as they say carpet is required, but I've lived here for over a year and still have the wood floors. It's nice and quiet and the neighbors mind their own business. The staff comes around to each apartment and collects the trash Mon, wed, fri so you don't have the make the hike to a garbage bin. Barcroft is a nice place for the price--I have 810 square feet for 735 per month and am very close to a bus stop. I would recommend it to college students and others on a budget who want some place big with ALL utilities included in a quiet environment...also, I've never had a problem finding a parking spot. One other example of their good service. My stairwell was dimly lit and I left a voicemail saying how walking up a dark stairwell 2 flights late at night was a bad situation and they immediately installed two big hallway lamps that light up the whole area!
