the apartments are old as dirt, there are NO amenities. they have a ROACH infestation. George Mason is ALWAYS crowded. At least they did something about the parking situation, after OVER TEN YEARS of living here. it's about time. The management stinks. the leasing "professionals" are extremely rude and not helpful in the least. the a/c sucks, being as it is ONLY in the living room. the "heaters" only heat up about an inch away from themselves. the hallways are dark. the grounds are ugly. every year they sprinkle "seeds" on the ground. but the kids just tear that up anyways.

the grass will grow mid shin before they cut it. they paint the windows every year, but won't replace the panes.

they REQUIRE 80% of the apt. to be carpeted yet charge you if you use them, instead of just making it fully carpeted.

the toilets are old water tanks. the vinyl, countertops, counters, STOVES are old. washer and dryers in laundry rooms NEVER work.

all in all stay the hell away from barcroft.

I disagree! I lived there for a total of about 10 years also and loved it. If they went condo, I would buy.
