I lived in Barcroft for a few months as a bachelor and a few more after getting married. The staff was always pleasant, and repairs were made very quickly. We only had a one bedroom, but it felt large and airy with lots of light from the big (albeit old) windows. And you can't beat the rent.

The reasons we moved were that the laundry rooms were horrible, overpriced, dirty, and far away. We ended up going to a local laundromat instead.

Oh, and I don't recommend living here if you're a blonde woman. Latino guys would leer and stare at my wife when she was alone.

The only other downside was that no one walks on the sidewalk so there are many bare spots on the grounds. We did have a couple of roaches at one point, but they went away after we bought some traps and egg stoppers.
