I have been living here for approximately 2 years. About six months back, they brought in a new manager and replaced all the front desk clerks (the previous ones were rude and obnoxious). Well while the new front desk clerks are nice and polite, they are thoroughly incompetent. Ask them any question and they will politely and in their "helpful" way reply "I dont know". Well what are you guys there for' Dont play the part of an affable idiot.
The less said about the manager, the better. Try to talk to him about a problem, and he will launch into a discussion about process, system etc. Dude get a grip! You are a ------- manager at an apartment complex... you ain't building a space shuttle or involved in the human genome project. And by the way get a sense of humor. And get eye surgery to fix that bulging toad like stare. Were you dropped as a child'
The manager is more interested in writing flowery memos ("dog days of summer"... my ass!). I suggest he quit this gig and become a full time poet. The serious brooding kind... who writes about world hunger and tries to find a cure for male pattern baldness. Thats the image he projects anyways.
The apartments are semi decent. The maintainence staff are great... the only saving grace. But things keep breaking. The garage doors broke and it took several weeks for Mr. Manager to get his act together and get it fixed. Prior to that (during the middle of the summer), the A/C in the exercise room stopped working and the only response from Mr. Manager was execuses, more lame excuses and preaching.
Within the past few months, the water was turned off several times because there were several leaks and what not. There is a recurring problem with hot water when seasons change (beginning of spring and fall).
Of course the only reponse from the manager are flowery memos and preaching about the necessity of having a system and a process.
Stay away from this apartment. I am planning not to renew my lease. I will pay more money and live someplace which has a semi-competent manager and not a ----tard like the current one.
The maintainence people are good, earnest and helpful. But the "white collar" folks are useless and incompetent.
