Ridiculous! When I signed the lease back in Nov. I was given great terms. So much cheaper than anywhere else and pretty much the only thing I could afford. Now, for the renewal they want to raise the rent by $250 a month (amd that is only with a 12 month lease). Not worth it at all, you could actually find a nice place for what they are asking.
What about the major leaks soaking up through the carpet and spilling down the external walls! It was ridiculous and they certainly took their dear time before getting it fixed.
I do not recommend this place except that the pool is nice and the balconies are big.

Wow, I just read this. I lived at the Bennington for two years. The first time my renewal came up they worked with me and only increased my rent by about 5%. This year, however, they raised my rent by $320 a month. I couldn't justify paying that much in rent so I had no choice other then moving. Not happy to hear it happened to someone else but glad I'm not alone.
