Quiet, friendly, but expensive

There are a number of good things and bad things about the Bennington.
When I first came, I thought I was in some kind of horror movie, because everyone is so nice to each other that it creeps you out. I thought they must secretly be vampires at night or something. Much to my delight this turned out not to be the case. Most of the residents are pretty nice people.
My room is dead quiet. I play the guitar and I'm pretty sure that I don't bother any of the other residents, because I can never, ever, hear any of them.
The shuttle is also very convenient.
However, there are a few things I have to say against it. First, 1300/month for a studio is just outrageous. The laundry room is extremely expensive (3.50 for the entire process of 1 load).
Also, although the bottom level is like a hotel lobby, the hallways are a little dark. They really ought to be redone.
Maybe it's just me, but in the winter, I would get up into my room and it would be pretty hot. I never use the heating, and I pretty much would crack my sliding glass door every day to cool it down when I got into my room.
Overall, I'd say it's nice living, but it's just too expensive for what it was. When I looked at the websites before moving here, I was not expecting to pay 1300 for a studio.
Also, parking is very rough. Always very, very, tight. Hardly ever can find a spot and must go to the roof. They have the first two levels for reserved parking, but never are they used. I think they should open them up.
