I have lived here for almost four years, and am moving out before the end of the summer. I can tell you that the plans the new company has for the building are great, and if you want to check the place out in about a year or two--good. But as I speak, all of my patio furniture is crowding my apartment because they're painting the balconies, there is scaffolding up over the entire entrance way and they are doing something that requires them to do an awful lot of jackhammering. The pool will not be opening on time. The fitness center is about to close. The party room has already closed. The garage, which the new company just dramatically increased the parking fees on is about to go through construction--I can't wait to see how much fun it will be to find a space in the already crowded garage when that happens. The BBQ area is closed because of the pool construction. And with the exception of the always friendly, always courteous desk guy Alex, this place is terrible. I know you have to go through pain to get a renovation--but if they had just held off raising rents on everyone who has to suffer through this people might not be so darn upset.
So hold off, check this place out in another year, but right now unless you have a thing for construction, angry residents, and inconvenience, I wouldn't move here.
