I lived at the Bennington for 3 years and experienced the management switch from Charles E. Smith (decent) to Bainbridge (horrid). Management is absent and doesn't care for the residents. They hire illegal aliens to staff the front desk, and the leasing office is grossly understaffed. My apartment flooded and it took them 3 days to respond with a toxic job that ruined the interior of the apartment and my belongings. I spent 3 days in a hotel, and the apartment did nothing to compensate or help me. They don't help. I fell in the entry while carrying a box, and the front desk attendant stared at me while I cried for 30 minutes. Finally, a resident came through the entry and helped me up. The building has significant water damage, and the ceilings cave in, especially on the higher floors, all of which are poorly wired. Resident's have been fleeing this apartment to escape the sky-rocketing rents. I suggest that everyone do the same.
