A great place so far From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/21/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   I have lived here for about 9 months and so far I have nothing really to complain about this place. I looked at 8 places when I moved to the city and this one was by far the best for many reasons. First, the units themselves are clean with all of the necessary NEW appliances--garbage disposal, dishwasher, stove, microwave, refridgerator, and a washer and dryer. We also have a fireplace (we don't use it but it does look nice) and a nice size patio. Our bathtub is huge and the walk-in closets hold a lot. There is plenty of parking in the building-no need to get a reserved spot. The best part of living here is that it is one block from the Clarendon metro with lots of nice restaurants/shops all within walking distance. We have not had to put in any maintenance requests since we moved in and the staff at the front desk have been nothing short of nice and helpful. There are monthly happy hours (have not made it to many yet because of my schedule) and get togethers they plan for the holidays and the special events such as the super bowl. Maintenance provides notice when it is coming through to replace air filters or do pest prevention (I have never seen any animal/bug yet since we moved in). I never had an issue with rent or fees-I would suggest the other people who have had issues with online payments to just write a check and pay on the 1st of the month like everyone else. Yes, the gym is lacking, but I am there all the time and no one else is using it so it is not like you have to wait in line for the machines. It's small and simple, but it gets the job done. Now, I have not been through the lease renewal/extension/dropout process or getting back a security deposit so I have no idea what that is like with this company. It is unfortunate that some people have not had good experiences, but I hope that it works out in the end.
