i'm also moving because of the terrible rent increases, masked by the shift of responsibility for the utilities. our rent is going up by about . that's, i think, unethical. everything i heard about charles E. smith buildings was right on. look elsewhere. they own the whole city, so the "market value" is artificially high here. what the hell is with the doorman r*b*rt'! he's such an ass to some people, and totally nice to others. i've seen him say hello to one person and just plain scowl at the next one. he needs to go. i won't miss that jerk.
