Well I have lived in Crystal Square for about a year now and slowly but surely the office staff are beginning to take away ammenities that I felt brought me to live here in the first place.
1. I was told that the Starbucks is offered continous 24 Hours a day. The coffee is no longer offered then, only 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
2. Saturday Brunch....Where did it go'

There was no notice to any of the residents regarding the changes in policy surrounding these two items, but most of us pay well over 2000 a month, so it should not be because the economy is bad.

Also when is the mysterious game room ever going to get finished'

I don't think it was good customer service on their part to simply change things without letting the residents know.

We have been here almost two years, and have found it a wonderful place. New owners took over at end of December and ran into some glitches(flood took out two elevators until shortly before you arrived), but they have an ambitious schedule for upgrades--usually they miss their target date, but they seem to get them done. We love the location, the views and the space, and the stores and restaurants in the basement. Welcome!

Yeah, I'm curious too. I'm considering a move to the DC area from Florida and it seems all of the rental places that have good reviews on this site up there are in the $1600 /month range. Anything that would be within my reach gets trashed tremendously, as is the case with practically every complex in Crystal City. Just looking for a semi-decent place to live near the Metro that won't leave me peniless at the end of the month.
