How can I say this without offending someone ---- This is my honest assessment of this apartment. I have lived here for a few years and let me tell you, the lack of management and its capability is more evident each and every day. Trash is not pickup in the common areas, dogs running wild and owner's not picking up after them. Why in the world would any apartment management team allow dogs in this facility. Something is wrong with that picture. Another concern, is that you can never get on a computer in the business office, it might as well be an extension of one of the many colleges in the area, students, have taken over the free computers, free copiers, free paper, free fax machine and of course the free conference room that you can never use because the students are setting around eating pizza or just hanging out. Note: Forget about having visitors over for the weekend as they will not have a place to park, even though in the by-laws it states: visitor parking is available, on the other hand if you can fight with the tenants who park in the visitor parking for extended times or the employees who think it's a right to have free parking and they do not care about where they park then perhaps you might get lucky.

Again, please consider another location before picking this apartment until the owners remove the management team curretnly in place.

Other Note: And now they are calling this apartment complex, a Designer Apartment, who are they kidding. The professionals who live here are not stupid, and can see that no effort is being made to make this like it was under the Charles E. Smith management team.

Thank you for your assessment. I am second-guessing signing a lease with this complex after seeing these reviews. How are the rent increases each year? How much do you pay for utilities. With the sore reviews of the managment company, I might think about moving to the Water Park Towers across the street. This is terrible to hear! They seriously need to re-write their policies and actually do their job. I wonder if Bainbridge Corporate knows about these problems. I bet if enough people email them, they can get there azzes fired. That's what happended at my last resident complex. Enough people were fed up about how residents were treated and corporate came in and "cleaned" house and brought in wonderful leasing agents. Again, thanks for your assessment.

My opinion is that, apartment living is your choice and no matter what, there is always a problem. You can put as much ( good) employees, there will always an issue !!!!!!!! I am a renter too, and trust me, even in your own house, you will never be happy. There is always something to complain about. I think Cystal Square is just any other places " apartment living is just another apartment living"

Definitely do not rent at this place. I am a current tenant and let me tell you: you will have a very nasty surprise when you receive the utilities bill. When I came here and rented my apartment they told me each apartment had a separate unit/counter to track your electricity/gas/water comsuption. Believe it or not it was a lie!!! The building managemnet simply divide the whole comsuption for the entire building (including their own Management offices, Leasing office, common areas, etc) by the number of feet in the building. Then, they assess the final blow to your apartemnt depending on how many feet you have. It doesnt matter or not if you are conscious and take care of the utilities at your apartment, or if you were travelling and absent for the entire month,,, Still, you will be forced to pay for something you did not use!!! Be careful future tenants... I am not renewing my lease and simply moving across the street to the Water Park building.
