Hmmm. The previous posting gave Crystal Towers, a perfect five(5) ''' This statement and the numerous misspellings in the posting make me suspicious that it was written by one of the incompetent members of the leasing staff. I have heard that other leasing agents give stellar ratings to their properties, so it's expected that the Crystal Towers staff would do the same.

The poster does tell some truth. The apartments are huge, and I have experienced very responsive calls from the maintenance staff.

The part that isn't being told that the other posters have expressed well is that the rent increases are shockingly severe. If you can absorb 10-18% annual increases (translated into about ($150 to $400) more per month dependent upon the size of your apartment, then this is the place for you. I think any reasonable person is willing to pay an increase that is consistent with inflation costs, but gouging current, loyal tenants is not cool either.

The other thing the poster doesn't state is that the construction has been going on for years and it is very disruptive. Plus, the building may be large, but it was built in the 1960s. Does a building this old warrant the equivalent price of a 2003- constructed building'' I plan on moving at the expiration of my lease. The metro access and apartment size are nice, but the building management has zero interest in retaining good tenants when they can just as easily gouge new ones! STAY AWAY!!
