I've lived here for a year and have not been impressed. My rent jumped by over $200 with very little improvement in the building. Crystal Towers spends huge sums of money on the lobby, fitness room, and little TVs in elevators, yet they spend nothing on improving the apartment. The windows in my apartment are only single pane (a problem with a fire station right down the street) and they use the cheapest paint they can find which leads to pealing and smudging.

In short, you pay a huge premium for the location and few amenities. You really have to ask yourself if $1600 for a 1 bedroom is worth it.
