Summer 2009 has been very pleasant. Now looking forward to the Party and the Food,
Festivities and Swim on Saturday Sept 26th starting about noon.
I am amazed at the positive feedback I get from the office or front desk staff,
when I ask a question or ask for help.. recently the guy on the desk called me
with additional information... above and beyond what he had to do.
Enjoy living in this upscale neighborhood with plenty of fire trucks going to
help people in need !!

This poor naive fool has only been here for six months. Wait until he/she renews his/her lease next year and gets a 20% rent increase (and then another 20% the year after that!). Those people who move in 15 years ago moved in when the rent was only $200 so a 20% rent increase isn't that much for them.

Do they go by percent or dollar values when the increaseis implemented?

Usually they go by percent. I know for a fact that long-term residents are not paying market value for their apartments. They have gotten 20% increases but since theri rent started at a much lower base it is still far less than the $1500 Crystal Towers usually charges for a one bedroom.

I think this is one of the staff. Charles E. Smith/Archstone has done this before. Note that the author is "Anonymous" and is speaking for others. Typical marketing/sales effort.

This post is complete garbage. Look in the internet cafe on any school day and it is jammed with kids whose parents don't send them to school playing video games on the computers. I'm sorry but I think it shows a lack of class class to walk around the lobby of an apartment building with no shirt. This is jungle behavior not suitable for an apartment residence in a cosmopolitan area. Such people are always around. It is not what I want to see. It is an objective fact.

Now here over 2 years, love the location, people, staff, apt and in three months our Apt end of the hall will be finished with the much needed construction, then I will be out on the balcony for fall to enjoy it along with others and the view...a semi retired, mature man with a decent view on people...not an employee.
