great place to live

I don't know what all the complaining is about - I moved here several months ago and love it. Sure it's expensive, but what do you expect so close to DC' Location can't be beat, area is very safe, with grocery store, post office, and large mall in easy walking distance, not to mention the 4 minute walk to Crystal City metro or 9 min walk to Pentagon City metro serviced by two metro lines. Everything is right here - you don't need to own a car. Plus the airport is conveniently close, but there is no noise at all from air traffic.
Office staff aren't too organized, but the maintenance service is fabulous and extremely prompt. My two major annoyances are unresolved issues with cold air getting in through the windows, as well as the fact that you have to ask for the key to the bike room at the desk every single time you want to get your bike out. As for the rest of the amenities, the convenience store downstairs is handy and rents movies; I haven't had too much trouble finding a time to use computers in the Click Cafe although the internet seems to be down fairly often; and in general other apartment dwellers are friendly if you take the trouble to say hello. I think this is a great place to live and I'm not planning to move any time soon.
