AWFUL

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006
First of all, the leasing office is going to lie to you and tell you whatever they need to so that you sign your lease. Ask about the difference in the laundry room vents between the North and the South Towers and they'll look at you as if they have no idea that the south tower apartments have cheap ducts and therefore don't ventilate properly. Ask them about the construction and they'll assure you that you won't even notice it in the year to come, that it "won't effect your apartment." Ask them anything and be prepared to hear what you want to hear only to be horrified by the truth when you move in.
Don't work from home though, the construction that wasn't supposed to effect our apartment is horrible. Imagine standing next to a jackhammer from 9am to 5pm while trying to concentrate on work... good luck
Also, enjoy the layer of dust that shoots out from the a/c while this construction is going on. Whether this dust is harmful or not who knows (you sign an asbestos warning with the lease), but there's certainly a new layer of it when I come home everyday.
Second of all, everything breaks.
The a/c doesn't work well even when it is working. Be prepared to move furniture away from the walls every few weeks while maintenance sticks a fan to dry out the soggy carpeting and tear out the foam.
Also, be careful not to leave anything out that you don't want stolen. The apartment was very good about telling us about a robbery where a delivery man was held at gun point but they neglected to send out the same type of notice when an apartment was robbed. Thousands of dollars worth of personal belongings were stolen from one of the apartments however the front door was never physically 'broken in' to. Perhaps they didn't know how to explain to residents that there was a thief who was able to break into an apartment without forced entry. Feel safe yet'
Each resident on the lease was promised a parking space with the option of buying a garage space if added security was desired. What they should have said was that none of the residents would be able to park, they would probably get their car towed for trying to park in the limited spaces in the parking lot or ticketed when they park on the street and oversleep. I would have traded all of my parking spaces in for just one garage space... but that's not one of the options.
You'll never get in touch with management and when you do, they offer no answers. So good luck finding someone who cares
