Dominion Towers
AVERAGE RATING

The only good thing about Dominion Towers is the location. I agree with some of the things that the reviewers below have said, but have more to add. First, the office staff is difficult to get a hold of and the weekend staff cannot answer any worthwhile questions. Response to maintenence calls is slow and sometimes nonexistent. The basement smells of trash every single day and, at least once a week, the entire first floor reeks of garbage. Maintenence will take garbage cans down in the regular elevators at 8am, so it slows the elevators when people are leaving for work in the morning and -surprise- makes the elevators smell like garbage.
Someone vomited outside the 5th floor elevators and it wasn't cleaned up for 5 days. The dryers on the 5th floor have been broken since January and only one was recently repaired. People (residents' Homeless') pee in the stairwells. The plumbing is atrocious and it sounds like someone is jackhammering whenever the tenants above my apt. take a shower. The heat is turned on too soon and the AC turned on too late, so count on sweating in your own apartment for at least one month out of the year.
The convenience store in the basement is nice and well-stocked, and the office staff has been friendlier since the new management came in, but I would never recommend this apartment to anyone.

Bravo, but you forgot to mention the gabronies that hangout infront of the store who make for some not so interesting viewing if you live on that side of the building.
