I have lived here for around 7 months, and have loathed every single day. I count the days that I have before I can move out. This place is plain disgusting. The management experiences a complete overhaul every month. They have yet to fix problems that I complained about when i first moved in 7 months ago. The elevators smell, the walls of the building are covered with dirt, markings, and writing. The carpeting in the hallways is from the 60's, but looks like it has been around alot longer than that. Also, be prepared to wear a gasmask when you get your mail. The mailboxes are located right next to a trash room that seems to constantly have a stench of death. The actual apartments are decent, clean, everything new. At first glance, this place looks acceptable, but when you live here for a week you will regret your decision to move in.

I can agree with this resident when it comes to the building. It does look bad but they are doing renovations to the building. I moved here about 7 months ago and I like the location and I love my apartment. I have talked with other residents and I get the same feeling about the building with them. They are taking the time to put in effort to give their residents a better looking building and at least they are making the effort. I have not had any problems with the management in the office. They have been nothing but helpful. They are short handed in the office and I was told that the management changes alot but I think that the office staff that we have is doing a good job. I am going to give them a chance to see what they can do. They are likable people and they said that the renovations would take about 90 days to complete. They also told me that they are going to be doing a lot more for the residents. Let's just give the new manager and her staff a chance to show us residents that they are here for us. The carpet may look like someone ate off of it and the walls but they assured me that all of that was going to be taken care of. Let's just stop being so negative. Give them a chance.

Let's just stop being negative, eh?
OK. I tried not to be "negative" for the year I lived there. Problem was, not much was positive.
The apartments themselves are great. Never had an issue.
But the hallways, the carpets, the elevators, etc etc etc - all look like the interior of a ghetto.
No one pays $1200 to live in a ghetto.
Putting down new brown carpet - stained within a week - is not an improvement. Perhaps they need to be more picky about the type of people they'll rent to. You know, try renting to folks who don't draw male appendage graffiti on the walls, leave trash in the hallway, pee in the elevators, run a Thai restaurant out of their place, etc.
