It is a great apartment for the money. I would say that a 1BR here rents for about $300 less per month than similar one bedrooms in South Arlington. The apartments are clean and very spacious. They have an awesome layout designed before central air was invented and, thus, maximizing cross breezes. There is also plenty of closet space (my 1BR has 4 closets). The staff are super friendly saying hello to me each morning and never fail to fix anything and everything quickly.

You don't get an in-apartment w/d, dishwasher, or central air. But I will say the provided window unit is sufficient for cooling the place down during DC's awful summers.

In the center of South Arlington, the location cannot be beat. You can walk to a theater, coffee shop, bar, grocery store, and several of Arlington's best restaurants ranging from many different genres (Thai, Turkish, Pakistani, Ethiopian, Salvadorian, Chinese, and the best diner in DC, Bob and Edith's). Commuting is a breeze. You can be on I-395 in two mins. and parked in most places in DC in about 10 mins from your apt. door. There are two great buslines connecting you to Ballston, Pentagon, and Pentagon City metros. Clarendon is also a 25 min., scenic walk from my apt. door.

My biggest complaint: The cracking paint. It is driving me crazy.

All things considered, this is the best deal inside the beltway given rent and location.
