I would highly recommend the Ft. Strong apartments with one caveat: the buildings are older buildings and while the management does an excellent job of getting repairs done and keeping everything in good conditions, there are two problems that they have not been able to overcome - bugs and insulation. But, if you are able to put up with some bugs and drafty windows, the location, service and price are extremly hard to beat!
