Advertised as having hardwood floors, showed us apartments with hardwood floors, repeatedly told us we'd have hardwood floors, and 6 days before we move in, the woman calls us up and asks "how do you feel about carpet'" Like we had a choice! They decided last minute to put nasty brown carpet through the entire apartment because they were too cheap to fix the hardwood floors they promised.

On top of that, they changed our move-in date from Feb 15 (which they presured us into in the first place) to March 1 and only told us 20 days beforehand.

There's more! After they tell us they're putting carpeting in our apartment, they tell me I have to store my bike on our balcony -- which would mean dragging a muddy bike over the "new" carpet twice a day. What'! I ask about the stroage down in the laundry room and they tell me all of the storage areas are taken (even though there are more storage areas then units in the apartment). So what am I supposed to do with my bike' They suggested leaving it out in the open. Lovely.
