I lived here for a year and everything was what I expected in this price range.

Layout of the apartment (2 bed, 1 bath) had large floorplan, hardwood floors, and a small, but workable kitchen. Lots of storage space in all rooms, and living room plus one br was air conditioned. Utilities (not cable) included, so the whole place was very cost effective considering the location. While parking (add'l $/pass) was tight off of Lee Highway, but there is an additional parking lot that's just a short walk across the Fort Strong apartments campus and is much larger, so I never had to park on the street.

Location is excellent, being a 10 minute walk to Clarendon or Courthouse. I walked every day to Rosslyn for work and never had an issue no matter what hour I was getting back -- definitely a safe area. Giant food market, the Italian Store, and CVS are all a short walk away. Buildings are not very modern, but grounds are fairly well kept and you can tell that the management is trying to make improvements all around.

Neighbors were generally quiet and pleasant to deal with. Management was very pleasant and accommodating to requests for repairs.

Did have some issues with cockroaches, they were small ones but they were there. Apartment was fumigated, but I think the neighbors above us didn't keep their place very clean so it gave them a place to hang out.

All in all, considering other apartments I've lived in/seen around the DC Metro area, I can definitely recommend this one and say that it's a great value for the relatively low rent, quiet location, and ample space.
