The building was sold a few months ago, and they haven't yet hired a manager, so nothing is getting fixed, no decisions being made. Their excuse is that they are searching for the "right person" to take over the property. The leasing staff is antagonistic after you sign the lease; they've even taken away the "amenity" of free coffee, a battle of leasing vs. tenants. The elevators don't work well/often, and the freight elevator is filthy -- hasn't been cleaned in the (almost) year I've lived here, though with the elevator's operating status the freight elevator is the most used "passenger" elevator. The fitness center hasn't been fixed, though residents have been complaining for months. They continue to put things off for "once we hire a manager..." I wish I could put off paying rent until "once you get a manager...." The concierges have improved, though only a few are truly helpful. They will watch you struggle with bags to get open the door, and a welcome "greeting" is rare. TOO EXPENSIVE for the value. It reminds me more of living in a dorm than a luxury apartment.
