I have live in Gallery for the past six months, and I choose this place because it was very close to the metro station (about 3 minutes). It has good amenities if compare to other apartments, the gym is small but it ok, the events room is always immaculate, the business center is average at least the computers have internet access most of the time, front desk people during the week can be very polite but on the weekends sometimes there is a person that don?t even look to you.

Apartments on the 19 floor can be noisy because of the airplane traffic and because sometimes when the administration fixed something in the roof, things use to be moved by wind if they are not tight and you can hear that sound all the time. In terms of fixing things that noise on the roof remains for weeks, although they said they had fixed it.

Rent is extremely expensive (2 bedrooms den 2 bath) more than $3200, administration said is that expensive because of the view?. Of course our view is of other buildings and possibly some areas of the Potomac. Kitchen is very small; the den is more like a closet and the access to the balcony is only through one of the rooms, so if you are living here with individual renters and your room is the one without the balcony probably you will not have access to it. Elevators are most of the time effectives except in closing the doors (very slow).

When you contract ends and you decide not to renew the lease, you are not treated anymore as a decent residence, and one thing very disrespectful is that the administration bring people to see the apartment while you are still there (this is establish in the lease although is very uncomfortable), and not only that they didn?t follow the rules of the apartment that you are still paying for example walking with shoes in the carpet, they excuse themselves saying that ?we don?t have those rules? and continue doing their inspection without any respect to the people that were present in that moment.

Basically the location of this place it?s for me the most important benefit because it?s close to the metro and a grocery store among others. I will recommend this place to anyone who has enough money to expend.
