This place is awful!

I have lived at The Lenox Club for 18 months and customer service is not a phase the employees here have ever heard. I have lived in a one bedroom with a great view of DC, but the on going staff issues and non-responsiveness have made it completely unpleasant to stay here and I can?t move out fast enough. My parking issues have been when I have guests in town staying with me safety is a big issue of concern and the staff has done nothing to increase lighting or fix the fence that surrounds the guest parking lot while I have lived here. The worst is their lack of concern for residents who choose to not participate in their drunken parties. Part of my time living here I was finishing a degree and the staff held parties in a downstairs outside area surrounded by three brick walls so the volume and the horrible eighties DJ they hired went straight up and into the surrounding apartments on that side of the building. When I inquired about why they didn?t use their party room on the roof, they said they wanted to have the event outside. When parties held downstairs and outside continued after 10 pm, when they tell residents to be aware of neighbors and keep the noise down, I would call the front desk and ask them to turn down the noise or ask when the party was to end they would laugh at me. I had to resort to calling the police and the staff lied to the police telling them all the resident know they have a party every month ? which is not true. They have held five parties in my 18 months, typically around holidays, which I don?t take issue with, it is the parties held outside that have bothered me, the staff has not taken into consideration the residents who live on the inside part of the building with apartments facing the courtyard area and in turn the residents on that side have to suffer when they have parties and you try putting young children to bed with that kind of noise the night before they have school and I have work. Personally, I find it completely unprofessional for to have the staff members walking around totally blitzed and drunk at these parties they hold, you don?t have to attend the parties to run into the drunken staff members in the hall, as the staff likes to tell everyone about how they all live here in the building. The worst situation was when I complained about a resident smoking illegal substances and the smell from down the hall penetrating into my apartment the security staff laughed at me again. And by the way the front deskmen or so called security staff are nothing to be impressed by. They end up with 20 different guys around who know no one, never do their job, let anyone in all the time without calling up, disappear for 20 minutes and you have to wait for a guest parking pass or to pick-up your packages. Only one of these men has been kind and courteous to me and he is the only one who receives a holiday bonus from me. The rest of them don?t even bother to learn residents? names. I have had constant mold issues within my apartment, which worsened after a water leak flooded my kitchen from a water leak in another apartment. I called the office and they stopped by, looked at the water and my saturated cabinets and belongings, and never came back. When I called the office back they told me when the other apartment was fixed they would be by and they never came. The staff solution was to leave a letter in my apartment on how to clean mold. Totally insensitive of the fact that when I moved in I made in depth inquires about how they handle these issues as they cause me great illness. But once moved in and problems began to occur they couldn?t have cared less. All I can say is they are lucky in light of all the recent law suits against management companies to pay for medical bills and for not taking care of such issues that I don?t have plans to do the same. All the money they recently spend redecorating, which hardly looks different, should have been used to upgrade the heating and air units, as they are full of mold and filthy. The bottom line, the staff has a constant turnover, they are totally unprofessional, and an all around headache. Some of the views are breathtaking, but in the long run not worth the money or the constant hassles.
