I arrived in 2001 and after my lease was up in 2002, I was curious and visited the surrounding apartments to compare cost and amenities. More importantly, I compared value and intangibles. For varying reasons, I decided to stay put at the Lenox for another six months.



Sure, there were newer, larger, or even cheaper places but but the newer places were smaller and the larger places were older and the cheaper places were worth the price. You get what you pay for. You know, the place needs to feel right such as the attentive office staff, responsive service staff, and the respectful security staff. They made me feel at home so I stayed.



The view, the deli, 24 hour fitness center, dry cleaner, florist, tanning salon, game room, sauna, swimming pool, whirl pool, play ground, outdoor grills, concierge, ample parking, and other conveniences could not be matched by the other apartments that I visited in the area.



My apartment had a den that could be used as a second bedroom and the Lenox staff accomidated me by furnishing it to meet my needs. Rebecca was a very responsible building manager and treated everyone fairly. If I called with a problem, then she would send Davey or Johnny. They were very responsive and knew their job.



I regret having to depart but when I return to the DC area in six months, I hope a Lenox apartment is available for me. If not, then I will at least visit the friends I made during my stay there.



I have recommended the Lenox to quite a few coworkers and they have been pleased. It makes sense to stay at the Lenox.
