Lenox Club is a Super Place to Live

I came across the Lenox Club rating site while doing research for an Army Reserve issue I am working and was very surprised by some of the negative comments left by a few tenants.

As a resident of the Lenox Club for four years I find none of the negative comments concerning the staff or apartment valid.

Personally it has been a wonderful, well maintained, conveniently located facility in which to live.

My comments on the Lenox Club are:

Maintenance: Any problem I had (burnout light, washer dryer, clogged tub drain)) was responded to the same day it was reported.

The common areas are always immaculate.

The cleaning crew mop/vacuum the common area seven days a week.

Twelve months ago the management completely remodeled the building, from what I considered an already great looking facility.

The exercise room was also expanded and all new equipment installed.

The indoor pool has only being closed for maintenance once or twice when it was drained and refilled and when the pool heater broke.

Management: They have been great.

An indication of the caring and compassion of the staff were the flowers and get-well cards they sent to my wife several times during her long illness.

It was a wonderful gesture that was much appreciated by my wife and I.

Whenever I saw any of the staff they always inquired about her health.

This was not part of the lease; it was because they are a great bunch of folks that care about the tenants that live at the Lenox Club.

Noise: I have lived there 4 years and only once was I disturbed by noise from an apartment below me.

Other than that it has been a very quiet place to live.

Parties: The holiday parties held by the management are first class affairs.

While there is a bit of noise involved when you get 200-300 tenants together, but the parties are not in any sense of the imagination drunken affairs.

Since the parties are only held on major holidays (4th July, Christmas, Chino De Milo etc.) three of four times a year, I cant imagine they are a major source of annoyance as one writer indicated.

If thats is a problem, then you need to consider buying a house rather than live in an apartment.

Security: The security staff is what you would expect in a private commercial facility.

While some of the guards are very conscientious and professional in their duties, others are merely adequate.

But, they are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and they do make the rounds of the underground garage and common areas.

Also, you need a electronic access card to enter the locked main door and to get into the parking garage.

Is the place as secure as the Pentagonno, but it is as good and probably better than in a private residence since there is always someone on duty.

While I know you can never please everybody, I think the Lenox Club does try.

I have found it a great place to live and recommend it to all friends moving into the area.

Since my children are grown, access to schools, etc.

did not have a bearing on where I needed to live.

The Lenox Club is 10-minute walk to the Pentagon.

If you cant be comfortable here you would be a hard person to please.
