After reading several reviews I decided to put in my 2 cents worth.
I have lived at Lennox for over 4 years now and I do like the building and staff. The staff has rotated through over that time period and some are better than others but Welcome to life!!! There is an issue with the A/C - Heating in that there are no individual systems. The System is building wide and switches over at certain times during the year. At times it is not the best but it offsets in the utility bills that you get if you have individual systems.
As for other reviewer??s comments, like the people living there are not friendly, that is not an issue with just the Lennox Club but with the area. Some of the residence are friendly, some are not, Welcome to Life in the Big City!!! You find that in every building. Also the area is as safe if not actually safer than most regions. Crime is a matter of life anywhere you go.
Also Price was brought up...Well you pay for convenience... I rarely have to drive any place, with 3 metro-stops within a few blocks plus the mall and Pentagon row. Target and Potomac shopping center just down the road makes this one of the most convenient residence I have found. Everything is Pricey in this area. If you don't like it then Move out yonder and spend the difference in rent on gas sitting in traffic.
Also one reviewer brought up the Wild Parties and drunk staff. The Lennox club has a few ??get-togethers?? each year, they are never late, except on New Years Eve, and those that drink, do, residence or staff. The staff is not on duty on the weekend and why should they not participate. If you don't like the people who drink, then don't stay until they get "Tipsy". I don't drink and usually go to each "Party" I get the FREE food and soda, enjoy the time and then go back up to my apt before the people get obnoxious.
Another reviewer wrote about the birds. Yes the Birds do ??go?? on your car but because the FIRE CODE requires sprinklers in the garage Lennox cannot stop the birds from doing what comes naturally. Oh by the way, The Lennox provides a FREE area to wash your car!!!
A big advantage that Lennox has is the INDOOR Pool, yes it is not a huge pool but it can be used year round!!! A sauna and hot tub, and exercise room... Even has an aerobic room, jeez you would think with all these things I would be in better shape... That is one thing they don't do... Make me exercise. I'll have to complain...!!!
Also a Big benefit for me is, the Walls between the apts are solid Concrete which means I don't have to listen to the people next door. My Boss lives around the corner and pays just as much as I do and I can hear what her neighbors are talking about!!!
This does sound like a staff member did this but I am not, I have had my issues but I always weigh the benefits versus the cons and there are more benefits to this facility.
I have never had an issue with the maintenance crew and usually within a day issues are fixed.
I know of a resident that emailed the TV stations in the area because the A/C compressor broke down, and told them there was ??Life Threatening?? conditions. Well mechanical things break down every now and then and NO ONE can predict when that will be. I see it at hundreds of facilities I have been at. The Maintenance supervisor even went to the older residents individual??s apts, and checked on them. Some people just can??t seem to get it that most things that we deal with in life just can??t be controlled. Get your Own house and see what happens with your a/c and fridge and stove and washer and garbage disposal!!! Then the Maintenance crew at the Lennox don??t look that bad!!!

On the whole it is a nice place to live?? You decide for yourself, don??t take bitter people??s opinions. These are the people who probably ??keyed?? the wood in the elevator and broke the door off the elevator controls because they had an issue with management but then They don??t THINK of the Other residents that use these things??
Only thinking of themselves?? then they say the people aren??t friendly.
Negative comments about others when you don??t KNOW others are a cop out.
That is why I wrote this!!!
