The Truth

I have lived at the Lenox Club for 4 years. Yes it is a good location, most staff members are friendly. It has an indoor pool (needs updating) and a very small gym (equipment not serviced). The Management Staff have a very high turn over, resulting in unqualified and unprofessional staff members.
Expect to pay a high premium to live here, and now I feel that you are not getting your buck s worth.
Last summer the building was without AC on and off for the whole summer, then we had 9 days straight were it stopped working. Only after day 7 (when the building had reached 95of inside) did they offer alternative accommodation and a $25 dining voucher per Apartment for 2 nights, no rent rebate. The AC was never properly fixed, so it is very sporadic.
Now they are having problems with the Hot Water system, so sometimes you'll want to take a Shower to find no hot water. In the winter the building is excessively hot.
There have been recent problems with graffiti in the Elevators, and a couple of occasions where the police have been called for different incidents.
I think the problem is that Forest Management, the property management company is happy to charge high rents but not put the money back into the maintenance of the building. It would seem their attitude would be the building has a great view (only from one side) so why bother investing.
