Could not agree more with the last reviewer. I just moved out of that place --- it is aweful, aweful, aweful. Everything about it stinks. No A/C, even in the dead of summer and no heat in winter. Hot water goes out at least every week. Eleavators are always vandalized. Night door/security dude don't help you when hands are full. Just sits there, and moans when walk by. I lived on a lower floor facing courtyard -- and the noise from the highway was terrible. And so when it's in the 70's outside, it's in the 90's inside my apartment. I lived there for 11 months, then moved out. If you move there, u can't get out of lease. "Management" (not sure what exactly they are managing) won't let them out of the lease. Parking is terrible. Birds make doodoo all over your car. Unless you work for lenox club, expect to pay for a reserved spot. I moved to a Charles Smith apartment in Ballston. Much, much nicer area. More upscale. Better ammeneties. Better management Keep you money. Live elsewhere. Lenox Club is not a nice place to live. Wish someone had told me that.

HI! I'M ABOUT TO MOVE TO THIS PLACE.. FIRST IMPRESSION... EVERYTHING LOOKS VERY CLEAN. BUT I'LL RECONSIDER MY DECISION.:)

I lived at the Lenox for a year, ending this past June, 08. The A/C and heat worked just fine with individual controls in the apartment. The building was well maintained and secure. I never saw any evidence of vandalism. I agree that the front desk staff were not hired for their personalities, unless you have the joy of running into Jay Pint, the security manage, who is a great guy. There were several very nice (and free) parties thrown for the guests and PJ, the manager, was always available and flexible. I don't understand the criticism for parking since most parking is underground but I never ran into a bird problem. However, if the critic's recommendation is for a Charles Smith apartment, I lose faith in the comments. Finally,it is "awful," not "aweful." The former means terrible but the latter means invoking awe.

Chip- I thought the same thing reading it. Lol. I've been looking around at places online to rent when I move to the East Coast and it looks great on the net. I'm curious if the closets are very big, though. In the pics of the floorplans, they look tiny. As a girl who shops way too much, this is a serious concern for me.
