There was a vast change in the resident management in the building over the past year. I have lived in the building for more than three years and decided to move out after constant turn over of the office management, poor service, disrespectful attitude, and high regulation within the apartment complex. The entire final year I lived in the building residents would receive a constant barrage of letters regarding changes to management policy. The previous review did a great job of listing them, but here are a few for good measure-residents could no longer keep balcony furniture on the balcony, for apartments shared by roomates all rent payments had to be made in one check whereas previously an apartment with 2 or 3 roomates could be paid with 2 or 3 checks (1 per resident), a 10-15% increase in rent for the upcoming year. Bottom line-while Library courts seems like a good deal (for Ballston) save your money and go elsewhere. Also avoid 1020 Quincy; they are managed by the same people and owned by the same company as 1040 property so you'll just run into the same problems.
