Yuck. Yuck. The lobby may be pretty but living here sucks.

The management is AWFUL. Really really bad. Even though others have mentioned that the apartments are pretty and therefore, it is worth putting up with the management, I have to disagree. In addition to the management being entirely unreasonable, uncooperative, manipulative, money-grabbing and generally lacking in any human compassion/fairness, the apartments are totally below average. Never have I heard of a $50 move-in fee, for ummmmm....what exactly'!
The three bedroom apartment is small, tiny kitchen, all the rooms are way too close together, meaning if you are in the smallest windowless room, you wake up to the delightful sounds of the bathroom fan and roomates showering, neighbors peeing [very distinctly for some weird reason], kitchen cabinets opening/closing, the microwave and dishwasher. If you sleep in the middle-sized windowless room, you can hear everything that happens in the en-suite bathroom and if you sleep in the biggest room, you are approx 5ft away from everything that goes on in the living room and kitchen and everything can be heard the whole way through the apartment. My room mates are great, but despite them trying to make as little noise as possible, everything can be heard everywhere.
In addition, the smallest rooms, without windows are extremely extremely DRY. Anyone who has ever slept there suffers from nosebleeds because the air is so dry and dusty (the carpet seems to be full of dust mites) and the room is generally awful. I am in my mid-twenties and despite having lived in Europe, Central Africa (without running water or electricity) and South America, I have never ever had a nosebleed until I moved into this place. The walls and carpet have not been painted/cleaned in years. Lightbulbs cost up to $50 to replace, just for the kitchen ones... The windows in the exercise room in on the first floor are nailed shut so enjoy working out in a small stiflingly hot room (or trying to escape in an emergency...). Oh, and don't think about putting light-colored furniture (shocking!) on your balcony, it isn't allowed.
The only ONLY good thing about this complex is the land its built on, look around, I'm sure you will find something cheaper, nicer, more friendly... I read reviews too before moving in, thinking it couldn't be that bad as long as the apertment itself was nice but it is not worth it at all. I'm trying to think of positive things to say about this place but seriously, look elsewhere.
