I've been here for almost two years only because of the schools, but it is the worst building in the area. The property manager(S.T.) is not the brightest light bulb in the pack. If you talk to her about the building you will have to do it as if she is three years old and you still will not get anywhere. Most of her staff is far above her in quality, honesty and service; not to mention brains. The noise is unacceptable, I have not had a good night sleep in a while. I can hear the man above me using the bathroom in the morning. The elevators break regularly, the parking garage doors break regularly and it causes lots of problems during morning and evening commutes. The intercom was never set up so the front desk just let people in. The maintenance guys are good except one and I have not seen him for a while.The front desk people are cool. This is the most expensive Archstone Smith building and it is of the worst quality. The location is great but there are lots of other buildings in the area. Got to one of those.
And yes the pet policy has changde several times since I've been here and I have not seen any rats.
