I was really attracted to this apartment at the first glance, the nice kitchen island especially, and the modern design of the apartment. But now i totally totally regret it, especially i am paying a much higher price than other apartments in the area, just to make myself a nightmare. Would give out a zero rating if i could!
The noise, again as in other comments, is a big big issue. My upstair happens to be a family with two kids, everyday since 6:30, the family wake up and until 11:pm, the whole apartment is like a nightmare to live. Running, walking, any other activities do not only come as noise, but as viabration as well! thinking of every morning you are waken up by "dong! dong! dong! dong!" heavy footsteps from above, i am being driven crazy...
And don't complain, because all what you could hear from the manager is just:"well, everyone has different tolerence level with noise." or "you'll have to understand apartment lives come with some noise problem." you are just pissed off by comment like that more than being pissed off by the noise itself. come on...i've lived in uni. dorms and survived, i assure you the noise is so bad that an average person would never go along with it. and managers just show no care and keep lying by saying that only you have this noise problem, but now i read other reviews, no! it's to almost everyone!
even in the apartment it's bad, my roommate and I could hear each other very clearly, thought the two rooms are quite far away.
And most managers and front desk people are so cool, they always show you this cool face whenever you need some service from them. Don't ever trust the manager named ------, he's a big lier, all he does is just keeping lying and never call you back by the time he promised by himself. And never try to call him, because he is so "busy" that one or two week would be minimum time for him to finally call you back. He sounds nice at first, but soon you'll discover that his real face is.
