London and Normandy Houses are sister buildings. I liked living here. Clean apartments, modern appliances, hardwood floors, utilities paid. Safe. Very convenient to Metro and highways. My rent included additional $80/mo for parking. Generally quiet with neighbors but on glide path to Reagan National so that took some getting used to: kept the TV/stereo volume somewhat higher than I normally would and couldn't sleep with windows open. View out of window is lousy -- into an office building but some units have better views. Nice doormen/women. Had no major maintenance issues, felt they were reasonably responsive, and did not fear permanent maintenance staff entering when I wasn't there. A little gripe is a few weeks delay during semi-annual seasonal transitions where they switch from AC to heat and visa versa. Fortunately, I had space heaters. But overall, the problems were pretty minor compared to many apartments I've rented.
