I've lived here for almost a year now, and wanted to chime in on this building.

Building is well maintained, with spacious apartments and nice fixtures. View from the roof is absolute best in all of DC, and the pool is nice too. Gym is very small/outdated, but works in a pinch. Each floor has a laundry room, with one or two machines (card operated)

All utilities are included (except for water- $14/month flat)

Demographics seem pretty normal for Rosslyn.. a mix of young professionals and older folks make up the majority from what I've noticed.

Front door/maintenance staff have always been really nice to my husband and I. I've heard the occasional horror story from neighbors, but those are very few and far between. Overall, they're good people who do a good job.

Only complaints so far are very "thin ceilings/floors" (not sure how else to phrase it) Basically, if someone is walking around upstairs, its quite audible below. As a gesture to my neighbors below, i try to take lighter steps... but i shouldn't have to in the first place. This annoyance is much more noticable here than in any previous buildings that I've lived in. On a related note, airplane noise is an issue, but not a big one. Honestly, we stopped noticing it pretty quickly.

My second complaint is PARKING! There are three (illegal) spots out front that some park in, but they're by no means a solution of any sort. You can park in the contractor lot on the side between 6pm and 7am and all weekend. There are TONS of empty spots in the garages (at all times) yet apparently they're all accounted for... management realizes this is a problem and state that they're going to deal with it shortly... which leads me to...

Management-
VERY difficult to reach. Recently an additional manager was brought to help out, and she's been great from what I can see/have heard.. however, calls to the management office have never been returned and stop-ins (at many different days and times) are usually stopped at the front door with a "she's busy". I know many are displeased with this lack of communication and availability, and I hope this is dealt with soon.

Overall, this is a nice place to live with an unbeatable location, nice apartments, fair rent, and nice staff. Downsides are disorganized parking allocation/availability and unresponsive management. lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji
