I rented a one bed one bath at the Lyon Village Apartments. I have only been here a short time (I am relocating for work), but my experience has been mixed. I have stuff in storage, and as long as you turn the lights on the storage area is not scary. The storage areas vary in size, but they are secure. I used the onsite workout room, which isnt much but it is convenient. The management and maintenance people are friendly, and I have had small complaints but nothing so bad I cant handle it.

My problem was with the laundry room. I had my things vandalized when I left my clothes unattended in the laundry area. I was not the first victim, however it worries me because the rooms are supposed to be locked at all times. I have started using laundry elsewhere, but my neighbor continues to do her laundry there and has had no problems.

One last thing, is the parking is kind of cruddy. But they are building a new lot, and if you know up front there isnt a lot of parking, and you dont have to pay for a parking permit, then you should be OK. There is a lot of street parking, but at night that sucks. The bus stop is right outside the building, on our side of the street you can get to courthouse or rosslyn, on the other side falls church or annandale (i think). The clarendon metro is about a half mile walk through a nice neighborhood. This helps with parking, so if you get a spot you dont have to move all week!
