I lived at Marbella for one year and it was a great experience. The staff is very friendly and hardworking. The grounds are always clean, and maintenance repaired things in a timely fashion... when I called maintenance in the morning about an issue, by the time I came home that day it would be fixed. It is walkable (10 min) to the courthouse and rosslyn metros... trust me- I don't have a car, so it was my only means of transportation. If you have a car, there are safe parking lots and street parking for visitors. There might be no gym... but it is less than a 1/2 mile to Iwo Jima and Arlington Cemetary. It is a great walk/run. There is a Safeway Grocery Store within walking distance and a Farmer's Market by the metro on Saturday mornings. The community washers and dryers are never too busy... I think there are only a few times I had to wait a short amount of time for a washer to open up. Neighbors are cordial. It was a great home for me and I would have stayed if my circumstances had not changed. I'm happy I had a home here.
